Joe Mantegna is a world-class, award-winning entertainer with a strong background in television, theater, and film who returns to co-host the National Memorial Day Concert with Gary Sinise for the tenth consecutive year. Currently, Mantegna stars as FBI Special Agent David Rossi in season 10 of the hit CBS drama Criminal Minds. He also currently has hosting and producing duties on Gun Stories for the Outdoor Channel, now in its fifth season. Mantegna’s acting credits are long and impressive and he has received critical acclaim for his performances. He has numerous Emmy nominations and was awarded the Tony and Joseph Jefferson Award for his acclaimed performance as Richard Roma in David Mamet's Pulitzer Prize-winning play Glengarry Glen Ross. Some of Mantegna’s film and television highlights include: House of Games;Searching for BobbyFischer; The Godfather: Part III; the role of Dean Martin in The Rat Pack (for which he received both an Emmy and a Golden Globe nomination), the CBS miniseries The Last Don (for which he received his second Emmy nomination); the voice of Fat Tony on The Simpsons; and the voice of Grem in Cars 2. For two seasons, Joe starred with Mary Steenburgen and Amber Tamblyn in the critically acclaimed CBS drama Joan of Arcadia, winner of the 2004 People’s Choice Award for best new drama and earning three Emmy nominations. In 2008, Joe reprised his Emmy-nominated role of Lou Manahan opposite Debra Messing in the USA Network series The Starter Wife. With a rich family history in the military, Mantegna has long been a supporter of our men and women who serve. In May 2012, Joe was appointed the National Spokesperson for The U.S. Army Museum, to lead the fundraising campaign to build the long-planned National Museum of the United States Army.
