Scholarship Resources for Veterans

Education can provide one of the best and most valuable transitional paths for returning veterans, yet student veterans face a unique set of challenges, including rising costs. The following organizations provide grants or other assistance to U.S. military veterans and their families.

These programs of the armed forces offer education support:

Military One Source Voluntary Education Programs

Army Emergency Relief

Marine Corps Scholarship Foundation

Navy-Marine Corps Relief Society

Air Force Scholarships

There are many nongovernmental agencies who also offer support. Here are just a few: State Veteran Benefits

Children of Fallen Soldiers Relief Fund

This nonprofit organization offers college grants and financial assistance for children and spouses of U.S. service members who were wounded or lost their lives in Iraq and Afghanistan. Additionally, they offer reunion and entertainment opportunities for wounded service members and veterans.

Hope for the Warriors
